Lauren Taylor is a senior lawyer and risk specialist with extensive experience in regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and commercial law. As the Practice Leader of Breach Reporting & Remediation Governance at the Westpac Group, she leads initiatives that strengthen risk reporting frameworks, streamline incident management, and promote a proactive risk culture across the organisation.

Lauren brings to the Ability Works Board deep expertise in risk strategy and governance, particularly in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and uplifting compliance standards. She has advised some of Australia’s largest corporations and ASX-listed entities, drawing on her background at King & Wood Mallesons and her advisory roles with AustralianSuper and the Business Council of Australia.

Known for her strategic mindset and stakeholder engagement skills, Lauren is also highly regarded for her ability to balance legal rigour with commercial pragmatism. Her leadership in risk, compliance, and governance makes her a valuable contributor to the strategic oversight and continuous improvement of Ability Works’ governance and risk management frameworks.
