Claire Brookes

Claire joined AWA in August 2025 and brings 10 years of experience from the HVAC industry, having also previously worked as an instrument maker at Holden’s Lang Lang Proving Ground. Claire has a strong background in engineering and automotive and has spent the last 5.5 years running her own NFP Charity – 9 Lives Project Rescue, a charity dedicated to rescuing lost, stay and abandoned felines from the streets. She has rescued over 950 cats in the last 5.5 years. Claire is an avid fan of all things Lego and lives with cats, a dog, a snake, 2 ferrets and 2 sugar gliders. Claire is currently studying a Bachelor of Animal Science & Veterinary Studies at University of New England.
