Ability Works Australia is located on 1 Yarra Boulevard, Kew, Victoria, Australia, 3101
Entry is from Yarra Boulevard, 300 metres from the Chandler Highway.
When using Google Maps – Get Directions
- Search for “Ability Works Australia” rather than “1 Yarra Boulevard, Kew” to ensure you’re directed to the correct entrance.
Getting to Ability Works
You can get to Ability Works Australia by car or bus.
Car
We’re located within the Austin Health Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre, which you can enter via Yarra Boulevard (off the Chandler Highway). Please note that parking on Yarra Boulevard is free.
Once inside the Austin Health Centre, take a ticket issued at the boom gate on the way in. On-site parking rates within the Centre are:
- 0-30 minutes = Free
- 30-60 minutes = $4.10
- 1-4hours = $5.20
- 4-6 hours = $7.20
- 6- 24 hours = $10.40
- Lost ticket = $10.40
Payment is made by electronic payment (tap) at the boom gate when leaving. The Centre has free parking for the first 30 minutes.
There is a small car park adjacent to the Ability Works building. If this is full, continue past the building to a larger car park on your right-hand side.

Concession rate parking is available for frequent or long-term visitors and Department of Veterans Affairs Gold or White Card holders. This can be arranged through Austin Health.
Bus
The 609 Hawthorn to Fairfield via Kew bus runs through Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre.
Use Public Transport Victoria’s Journey Planner to plan your trip using Metro Trains, Trams and other public transport.
Our nearest train stations are Fairfield and Alphington on the Hurstbridge line.
Entering Ability Works
There is a sign on our building at the front that says, “Ability Works Australia”.
There are 2 locked swing glass doors at the front of the building. Please press the doorbell on the right for entry.
When you enter the building, there is a reception desk immediately on your left.
Visitors’ sign-in
All visitors are required to sign in for occupational safety purposes, and you will be issued with a visitors pass, high-visibility vests and protective eyewear if you are touring our manufacturing, packing and production workspaces.
